Ed Motta, the “Colossus of Rio” released his 14th studio album last Friday on MPS. On this special record the Brazilian star tells intriguing stories, being inspired by old movies and TV series. Musically he perfected every song not only by incredible songwriting but also with meticulous attention to detail during the mixing and mastering process. Motta hailing from a musical family, his uncle was Tim Maia, describes his latest work as “an ode to the freedom and a commitment to the art.” Starring international renowned musicians, including Paulette McWilliams and Philip Ingram on backround vocals, the FILMharmonic Orchestra from Prague and many more, this release promises to excite the audience from start to finish.
